CLEAN WATER

Drinking dirty water is one of the most common causes of death in the developing world despite being one of the most preventable.Clean water improve health by preventing waterborne illness.

Pakistan is among the top 10 countries with the lowest access to clean water near to home.21 million people in Pakistan alone don’t have access to clean water close to home.53,000 children in Pakistan under five die each year from diarrhoeal related diseases. The UN estimates that almost one-tenth of the global disease burden could be prevented by improving water supply, sanitation, hygiene, and management of water resources. Most water sources are contaminated with human waste because of the absence of a sewage sanitation system. Still, that dirty water is often used for cooking and drinking – exposing men, women, and children to the germs that cause cholera, typhoid, hepatitis, chronic diarrhea, and other waterborne diseases are carried in water. Intestinal worms also pollute the water and cause debilitating side-effects in infected children and adults. Clean Water is life . Water is basic human right . Please donate to improve the life of the less fortunate.
