Instead of shopping on ‘www.amazon.co.uk’, use smile.amazon.co.uk  and select Mikael Waleed Foundation as your charity. It will not be a big change for you, but we receive a 0.5% donation from everything you buy!

3.Volunteering - Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? You will gain first-hand experience of working for a charity and experience the great feeling of humanitarian work. Email us if you have little spare time to invest in humbling experience .

4.Create your own online Tribute

Much Loved gives you the opportunity to create your own wonderful memorial website in tribute to your loved one. It’s simple, quick and free to set up.

5. Payroll giving

Donate every month as part of your salary. Workplace giving – also known as payroll giving or give as you earn – is an easy way to support Mikael Waleed Foundation . It’s tax free, which means that if you pay the basic rate of tax . Please contact us for more information we have a dedicated accountant team that can help you setting up payroll giving . 

 

 

6.Giving shares

Since 6 April 2000, individuals can get income tax relief in addition to capital gains tax relief on gifts of shares or securities to charities. This means that as a donor you will get tax relief on the full market value of the shares at the date of sale or transfer.

The shares can either be transferred into the name of Mikael Waleed Foundation using a stock transfer form, or sold on behalf of the charity by the donor. In both cases evidence of the transaction needs to be provided to the Inland Revenue on the donor’s annual tax return before tax relief can be applied.
